By using our PlastiGage, you can easily set the tolerances.
Simply install a piece of PlastiGage on the rod or the main journal and tighten bolts and caps as you normally would. Don't turn the engine or start it. Remove the cap and bolts and you'll see how wide this thin piece of plastic has been smashed. Measure the width of the freshly smashed plastic to see if your tractor has the correct tolerances set.
This particular PlastiGage is red. That indicates .002-006 inches in clearance.
If you don't use this product, you are simply guessing. You have spent alot of time and money, now is not the time to guess!
