This nice reproduction casting of B1679R is a very commonly broken part on your tractor. This part holds the pto seal in place as well as your PTO shaft and flipper guard mounts to this bracket as well. Not only does it have several purposes it's an important safety feature because if the bracket is broken you cannot mount/use your Flipper Guard. This bracket has been reproduced to the highest standards, all machine work is complete and will be ready to install when you receive it. Although not pictured, this wonderful bracket does includes both PTO Seals at no extra charge. What a deal! Now for the details: This bracket fits tractors with a 1 1/8" pto shaft. John Deere B - Unstyled (1,000-59,999) John Deere B - Styled (82,447-149,699) John Deere A - Unstyled and early styled (410,000-487,999) As with any of our parts, make sure this part fits your particular application. It is common for PTO shafts to have been changed to the larger 1 3/8" shaft as this oil seal housing and bracket has been difficult to find for years. When folks couldn't find the correct bracket/housing they switched to the 1 3/8" shaft.
