1953 John Deere 50 - JUST ARRIVED!!!
Code: T5001399
Weight: 0.00
Price: $4,250.00
Quantity in Basket: none
Ready to go home with you!

Featured is an early, gas John Deere 50. It is serial # 5001399.

This is the 1398th John Deere 50 built. If you like early production tractors, then this one is for you!

We purchased this tractor from a customer. The tractor had a cracked cylinder head. It was just too nice to part it out so we've rescued it and did a few repairs to make it a nice tractor, ready for you to use.

We've done the following repairs to this tractor:

Professionally rebuilt cylinder head with new valves and springs

While we had the engine tore down we bored the block to .090 to match a set of our new pistons

This tractor retains it's early, window pane wheels

This tractor is too early in the production to have power steering but it does have live power. It's a very useable tractor.

It has a new steering wheel

New starter cable

New ground strap

New Exhaust pipe

New Muffler

New spark plug wires

A set of our hot spark plugs

Instead of the original Wico XB distributor that is unreliable and expensive to work on, this tractor has Delco Distributor.

Nearly new front tires

Rear tires are knee deep in tread but weather cracked

Has it's original gauges

Has it's original JD1268 front rims

Rollomatic

All lights work and it has a rear combination lamp

New Lower water pipe

Starts and runs great!

We have a "50" in our own collection. It will run a #8 sickle mower all day long on not much fuel. As my Dad says "It doesn't eat much hay". He's right. This tractor is low cost to operate and will work hard for you whether on a mower, hay rake or on Sunday drives. You can't purchase another "50" and do the work that we've done for this price. It's a deal!

Electric Start 1940 John Deere B - RARE AND ORIGINAL!!!
Code: B93964
Weight: 0.00
Price: $2,995.00
Quantity in Basket: none
From time to time, we get in a tractor that is just such a sweetheart, we just can't salvage it. Many salvage yards will dismantle complete and running tractors, but we typically just won't do it. We'd much rather this tractor go to a good home like yours.

This 1940 John Deere "B" is electric start. The 1939 and 1940 "B"s are collectible all by themselves but pair it up with a rare option, electric start and you have a real winner. This John Deere "B" is serial # 93964.

It came into us very complete and very original. Many of it's 1939 and 1940 features are intact and in good condition. It was missing a few things but we've helped you and already installed a brand new 3-piece battery cover, 6V Battery, Battery Starter Cable, new fuel line, temperature gauge and oil pressure gauge and amp gauge, sediment bowl and radiator cap and new gaskets under the gas caps, new spark plugs and wires, rebuilt the carburetor and magneto, changed the oil and oil filter, gave it a brand new exhaust pipe and serviced it for the winter months ahead.

It starts and runs great and the dash light even works.

The tin work is very straight. The gas tanks were spotless on the inside.

We just don't receive original tractors, in this condition, very often.

This tractor is light and easy to haul. It would make a dandy tractor to tractor pull with.

The clutch handle arm is tight, we were amazed at the overall condition of the entire tractor.

If you are looking for an affordable but yet rare tractor to add to your collection then this tractor is for you. Or, if you are new into the world of 2-cylinder tractors, then make this little "B" your first.

If you prefer your tractors unrestored and unmolested then this "B" is for you. I'll guarantee you, at a show, this "B" will see more attention than the perfectly restored tractor next to it. Unrestored tractors are fun to drive and if you choose to restore it, you can do a little at a time, when time and budget allows.

Should you have any questions concerning this tractor or if you'd like additional photos, just drop us an e-mail or call.

John Deere 70-D with Wide Front - NEW ARRIVAL!!!
Code: 7022550
Weight: 0.00
Price: $2,495.00
Quantity in Basket: none
Just arrived!

If you have been looking for an affordable diesel tractor, then look no more!

Featured is a 1955 John Deere 70-D.

This tractor was built originally with a pony motor but many years ago the owner removed it so that it could be rebuilt. The owner of the shop never fixed the pony nor did he return it to the owner. This left the owner of the tractor with no pony motor. This tractor was owned by the same customer for 30 years. To start it, he either pulled it to start or rolled down the hill. This is a common problem because so many pony motors have failed and alot of customers simply don't want to fix them or cannot afford to fix them. If you want a good work tractor that will just about any job you put in front of it, this tractor is for you.

Tractor is serial # 7022550.

It has a Swartz wide front end that is in good shape.

This tractor starts and runs easy. I wouldn't be afraid to work it all day.

Tires hold air but are not pretty.

Power Steering works great

New Seat cushion set

The hood on the LH side has a 4 x 5" square hole in it that has been there for many years.

This tractor was repainted at some point in its life to look like a 720 or 730.

You won't find a better diesel tractor for the money!
